The staff at the Hutto clinic offers a variety of general services and surgeries in addition to selling prescription pet foods, flea and heartworm prevention, special shampoos and other preferred products.

We appreciate the loyalty and dedication our clients have shown us, and we strive to maintain our reputation as one of the finest small clinics in Central Texas.

 

Meet Our Team

Betsy Pratt

DVM

Dr. Betsy Pratt joined the Hutto Veterinary Clinic in 2012. She received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical science in 2007 from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to earn her DVM from A&M in 2011, graduating magna cum laude.

Her professional interests include wound management, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.

When she’s not working, Dr. Pratt enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their two dogs, and their adorable cat.

 

Diana Brandon

DVM

A native of Cali, Colombia, Dr. Diana Brandon came to the Austin area in 2002 after graduating from Veterinary School. Worked at a few veterinary hospitals while validating her Veterinary degree and becoming licensed to practice in the United States in 2009.

Dr. Brandon became passionate about veterinary medicine through her father who was a Veterinarian and researcher.
She has a special interest in internal medicine in companion animals and soft tissue surgery, especially in dogs and cats.

Dr. Brandon and her husband (Dr. Brian Brandon) reside in Elgin, Texas, and have 2 beautiful children: Addison and Matthew who love playing softball and baseball.  Dr. Brandon enjoys watching her kids play sports year-round and in her spare time, she likes traveling, skiing, and scuba diving!

Kaitlin

Practice Manager

Born and raised on a farm in the Georgetown area, Kaitlin has always had a strong passion to help pets small and large. Ever since she was a kid, she knew this was the field she wanted to pursue.  She was a Veterinary Technician for 8 years before she started having an interest in the management side of the veterinary field.

She raises sheep, cattle, has horses and dogs. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, team roping, and anything that involves being outdoors!

Jennifer

Technician

Jen has been in veterinary medicine since 1996.  In her years working as everything from kennel tech to practice manager, she discovered that being a technician is her true passion.  She loves all aspects of the job, from taking care of patients to educating clients.

When she is not at work she and her boyfriend enjoy competing in barbecue cook-offs and relaxing with their two cats, Darrell and Butterbean.

Charisa

Technician

Charisa has been working in veterinary clinics since 2004.  She attended Mt. San Antonio Veterinary Technician program in Walnut, CA.  Over the years, she has held many positions in the field and enjoys her position as a technician the most.

She has lived in Texas since 2006 with her husband, three children, and their family dog, Riddick.  She and her family enjoy many outdoor sports and activities, especially baseball.

Susanne

Receptionist

Originally from Maryland, Susanne retired from a career in the legal field and began working at several local veterinary hospitals. She joined our team in December 2019.

When she is not at work helping people’s pets, she spends her time riding horses, writing and enjoys all things vintage.
